Privacy and data use

Account credentials, verified email, display name, role, and account-security events are used to keep the evaluation invitation-only. SessionThread stores practice membership, therapist assignment, evaluation drafts, shared snapshots, consent choices, and security-event metadata in separate role-controlled records.

Clerk provides identity and credential services, Convex provides application authorization and data storage, and Vercel hosts the web application. These service providers may process or store evaluation data outside Canada. No advertising or third-party product analytics are included in this build.

For this limited friendly therapist review, standard account sign-in does not require multi-factor authentication. This is intentionally lower assurance than a clinical pilot, so real patient use and identifying health information remain prohibited.

Do not enter a real patient's name, contact details, session details, diagnosis, symptoms, treatment information, recording, transcript, or anything else that could identify them. Account identity is used only for access and administration during the closed evaluation.

Evaluation data is kept while the evaluation account remains active. Email the support address below to disable the account or remove eligible evaluation data. Security events and records of content that was previously shared may need to remain so the system does not silently rewrite its history.

Participation terms

• You must be at least 18 and specifically invited.
• Use only the account and practice role assigned to your verified email.
• Use fictional or non-identifying content during this evaluation.
• Do not use SessionThread for diagnosis, medication management, risk assessment, crisis response, or time-sensitive contact.
• Report a lost device, unexpected access, or accidental entry of identifying health information to the support address below.

Access may be disabled if the evaluation ends, these boundaries are not followed, or a privacy or security concern needs investigation.

Patient sharing choice

A private My Thread draft is visible only to the patient account that created it. Saving never shares it. Choosing Share creates a separate snapshot for the assigned therapist. It does not start a live conversation and may not be reviewed until the next appointment.

A patient can pause future sharing and can withdraw an eligible shared snapshot from active next-session preparation. Withdrawal does not pretend the earlier sharing never occurred, and the therapist can see that a withdrawal happened.

For account disablement, lost-device reports, unexpected access, or accidental entry of identifying information, email jarethflannigan@gmail.com.

Do not email patient details, therapy content, diagnoses, symptoms, session information, or anything else that looks clinical. This inbox is not monitored as an urgent-care or crisis-support channel.
